The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
